Graduate from the prestigious Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt.

Has many Ijazas in the recitation of the Qur’an. In the recitation of Hafs alone, the sheikh has 43 Ijaazaath.
Holds Ijaza in the fiqh of all 4 madhabs.
Holds a diploma in Arabic calligraphy
Has taught students from all around the world for over a decade.

Aisha Muhammad Auwal

Aisha Muhammad Auwal, widely known as Umm Zainab, is an accomplished Qur’an reciter from Yola, Adamawa State, Nigeria. Her Qur’anic journey began under the guidance of respected scholars in her community, where she developed a deep mastery of recitation grounded in precision, understanding, and discipline.

She has memorised the entire Qur’an and perfected 14 riwāyāt (modes of recitation). Aisha has participated in numerous national and international Qur’an competitions, earning recognition and awards from prestigious platforms including the Dubai International Qur’an Competition, as well as major competitions in Malaysia and Iran.

Aisha currently teaches at The Deen House School in Osogbo and also conducts online classes for students across the world. She is happily married and blessed with children.
